Having a qwerty keyboard is essential to me when composing and editing text or email. Combined that with cut&paste feature and at least 3 megapixel camera, I will not need to carry laptop and camera when travelling.
so are you siding with the iphone as the new 3gs has all of that and more.. both of qwerty but i guess you are talking about physical versus on screen?

the physical qwerty keyboard is a plus to me :-)
